Blessing and Turnover of Orani Fish Landing and Trading Facility

The blessing and turnover of the Orani Fish Landing and Trading Facility was held yesterday, April 29, in Brgy. Pantalan Bago, Orani.

Said facility was constructed through the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) under the Department of Agriculture (DA), funded by the World Bank, and supported by both the National Government and the Provincial Government of Bataan.

This project aims to restore the former glory of Orani as a hub for seafood trade, serving as a central marketplace for crabs, prawns, fish, and other marine products. It is expected to significantly contribute to the growth of the local economy in Orani and nearby towns in Bataan.

The event was attended by Governor Joet Garcia, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Board Member Tony Roman, Congresswoman Camille Villar, Orani Mayor Bondjong Pascual, Orani Vice Mayor Em Roman, DA-PRDP Assistant Secretary U-Nichols Manalo, and PRDP North Luzon Deputy Project Director Elma Mananes. The post Blessing and Turnover of Orani Fish Landing and Trading Facility appeared first on 1Bataan.
